Indiana Pride Festival and NO KINGS—Day of Defiance
In collaboration with the leadership of Indiana Pride Alliance, ICDC will support the Indiana Pride Festival by calling area citizens to rally at IRMC Park at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 14. Our version of the national call to action—No Kings: Nationawide Day of Defiance"— will be in support of our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors.
Noon is the announced start time of the 3rd annual Pride Festival. Participants in the rally are encouraged to bring family friendly signs in support of the LGBTQ+ community and/or ones with messages of outrage against the current wrecking ball administration. Participants are asked to be supportive of the Festival program and not to engage with any detractors who may be present in the vicinity.
One of the featured performances will be the Renaissance City Choir of Pittsburgh area.
