Ways to Volunteer

Take a shift in staffing Action Headquarters (HQ). (State preferred days and times in comments below.

Staff a table for a shift at one or more of the many fairs, festivals, and community events throughout the year.

Serve as a backup Action HQ Staff member to be available as a fill in when needed.

Volunteer to work at polling places on election day, helping to protect a secure election (apporval and training will be involved).

Send a check to ICDC, P.O.Box 315, Indiana, PA, or through ActBlue on the ICDC Website. (indianapadems@com)

Donate to the Harris Campaign and to candidates running for other PA ofices through ActBlue (actblue.com)

Donate 100 post card stamps. (Bring them to HQ.)

Host an in-person or Zoom happy hour fundraiser for ICDC or a candidate and invite your friends.

Host a garden party or other type of fundraiser, inviting friends and neighbors.

Come to Action HQ to pick up a call list of Independents and infrequent Dem voters. Call people to explain how to vote by mail. Make the calls from home and return the completed call list.

Attend an online Votebuilder training, and enter data into Votebuilder at HQ or at your home.

Stuff envelopes with information about voting by mail for Democrats.

Write postcards to independent and infrequent Dem voters. (Pick up postcards at HQ.)

Pick up a ‘walk list’ from HQ and go door-to-door, leaving information for voters. Please contact Eric Barker (ebarker@alumni.cmu.edu) for a list .

Write letters to the editor, addressing topics of importance to our fellow citizens this year.

Come by Action HQ to pick up yard signs for your property and your like-minded friends and neighbors. Volunteer to monitor signs in specific areas of the County.

Build frames for 4’x8’ signs for Biden and our local candidates.

Share candidates’ social media posts on your personal page to increase name recognition.

SPEAK OUT to your friends about important issues. Let people know that PA is going BLUE!!
