Are you feeling tight in your gut after the devastating presidential election results? Do you sense that a halo of gloom is hovering above your head preventing any glimpse of hope from shining through? You are not alone. So, please don’t isolate yourself.
I invite you to a weekly hour in a Zoom meeting starting Thursday, November 14. During those three consecutive one-hour discussions, we will share the painful emotions the election results have triggered in us and assess our emotional state week by week. It will be a good way to make sure that our fears don’t run our lives.
I also would like these sessions to be an opportunity to refresh our Democratic hearts by asking ourselves: “What little step can I take this upcoming week to activate what makes me a Democrat?”

Join our little group. We will assess our dominant mood over the past week using the mood meter created by Marc Brackett, talk about resilience and the excerpts from Navalny’s journal, and experiment with a mental tool to get unstuck when in too unpleasant a place emotionally.
