Inspirational headliner, special guests, great food, plus both a silent auction and a pie auction is not all that’s happening at this year’s Indiana County Democratic Picnic Saturday, August 22. Adding to the festivities at Blue Spruce Park will be the Good Trouble Singers from Mercer County.
With a name inspired by the late civil rights icon, U.S. Representative John Lewis, and his legendary call to make "good trouble, necessary trouble," the choir is best known for their participation in the Good Troubles rallies held nationally this past July. The amateur ensemble brings humor and inspiration to all their highly entertaining appearances.
In addition to the uplifting performance by the singers, the event will feature a headline address from Eugene DePasquale, chair of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. He will be joined by several guests including local Democratic candidates and others.

The evening will also include a Silent Auction and the 5th and highly popular Great Democratic Pie Auction.
Tickets are $25 per person, with food and soft beverages provided. Proceeds benefit the Indiana County Democratic Committee and local candidates.
To join this celebration of music, civic action, and regional unity, you can RSVP and purchase admission directly through the committee’s website at IndianaPaDems.com. You can also email treasurer, Linda Mitchell at lgmitchell68@gmail.com to make a reservation and pay at the event, starting at 5:30 p.m.
