Voting Tips

In Pennsylvania, mail in ballots are hitting your mailboxes now, and we highly recommend getting your ballots in soon. Don't delay

All Democratic Candidates

  • Check here to see all Indiana County candidates who are registered Democrats.

  • Use your address to see all YOUR LOCAL Indiana County candidates who are registered Democrats.

  • Be sure to fill out BOTH SIDES of your ballot, including the all-important retention votes for our respected Justices and Judges—Vote Yes

  • Most School Board/Director campaigns state “Vote for No More than 4.” But you DO NOT have to vote for four and recommend voting only for the Democrats. In some cases, there may be no Democrats running, which means you do not have to vote for any. Here's the list, again, of all Democrats running in Indiana County (it is also shown below).

  • School Board/Director candidates can cross file as Democrat/Republican. If they are NOT listed on either of the above sites, they ARE NOT registered Democrats. (See below for all Democratic registered School Board/Director candidates in Indiana County).

  • If candidates listed on your ballot are NOT Democrats, you can leave that oval blank.

  • In all cases of local candidates, you have the option of submitting a write-in vote. If you hear of any Democrat write-in campaigns, feel free to promote that name on Facebook or other outlets and contact us. We will do what we can to help spread the news.

  • Check out our Resources page for more information about voting and the voting process.

  • See the sample ballots below. Yours may look different depending on your precinct, but County offices and state-wide judges, including contested races and judge and justice retention voting will be the same.

  • Specimen ballots for all boroughs and townships in Indiana County are available as provided by Indiana County government. The specimens are listed in alphabetical order by municipality and precinct. You can find your precinct and voting location by filling out this short form on the PA Voters' Services website.

  • The ICDC has officially endorsed Cinny Bratton for Indiana County Coroner.
